On April 4th, we threw a tail-wagging celebration for our beagle boy Ace, who turned Two-ey! š¶š The theme? Bluey, of course! Because what better way to celebrate a playful pup than with everyoneās favorite cartoon dog family?
š The Location
We celebrated at Joan Milke Flores Park in San Pedroājust steps away from the beautiful Korean Bell of Friendship. It was the perfect spot with grassy space for pups to roam, coastal breezes, and a stunning view. Ideal for both playing fetch and taking cute birthday pics!
š° The Cakes
Every party needs cakeāand we had two!
š¾ Dog Cake: We picked up a dog-friendly birthday cake from La PawnaderĆa, and the pups went wild for it!

š§ Human Cake: The humans were treated to a delicious custom cake from Torrance Bakery. Sweet, simple, and oh-so-yummy!

š The Details
We went all out with Bluey-themed decorations from Amazon, plus some extra custom touches that made the day even more special.
š We had a number 2 dog-shaped piƱata filled with balls for the pups to enjoy!
š«§ Dog-friendly bubbles that smelled and tasted like peanut butter and bacon. Yum! (Courtesy of Amazon)
š¶ Ace wore a custom Bluey-themed bandana with his name on it (shoutout to Etsy for all the adorable custom items!)
š§ Even our water bottles were Bluey-themed and said āWackadoo! Ace turned 2!ā
š Goodie Bags
We made sure both dogs and humans left with something special!
š Doggie Bags Included:
A stuffed animal
Dog treats
A squeaky tennis ball
Poop bags
A custom cookie with Aceās face on it from Pupcuterie Boards (check them out on Instagram @pupcuterie_boards)
š Human Goodie Bags Included:
Candy in Bluey colors
A Bluey-themed pencil with Aceās name on it
Some other human goodies
And a big smile because, letās be real, how cute was all of this?
š Aceās Big Day
Ace had an absolute blast running around, snacking on goodies, and soaking up all the attention. He was surrounded by so much love, happy tails, and plenty of new friends. It was everything we hoped for and more.
Itās moments like this that remind us why we started Beagle Buddies of South Bay in the first placeāto build a fun, supportive community for beagles and their humans.
